While in Columbus for the 2014 GoodGuys Show, we ran across this unbelievable 48 Chevy pickup 5 window with a very unique twist. Hiding out back was Corvette LS6 rear axle with the engine mounted mid-truck (partially behind the cab and taking up the front of the bed). This is the only truck like this we’ve ever seen and it was gorgeous. The entire build was perfect. With the engine out back, the owner mounted the fuel cell between the front suspension. We imagine this truck has incredible handling characteristics and balance. Check out the photos and you’ll see the truck has a reverse flip tonneau cover to hid the engine.
