1958 Chevy Apache Low Rider

0

1957 Chevy Apache Low RiderFew trucks we see have better workmanship and quality than this 1958 Chevy Apache. It was chopped, channeled and smoothed to perfection. The highlight of the truck that really sets the stance is a full air ride suspension. An Oldsmobile front clip was added with power steering and power disc brakes. Under the hood is a rebuilt 350 Chevy engine with a rebuilt 350 GM turbo transmission with mild shift kit and stock torque converter with a tall Genie shifter handling gear selection. Out back, a Camaro rear end was dropped in with 3.20 gears and drum brakes. A dual reservoir master cylinder and power booster were added under the floor.

Custom metalflake paint shines brightly on the flawless body. A smoothed fire wall with all original body lines, new chrome tail lights and headlight bezels, chrome grille and front bumper highlight the bodywork.

Inside, the detail continues with diamond tuck matching interior, door poppers, tilt steering column with Moon Eyes metal flake steering wheel, Alpine CD, radio, MP3 with speakers in the kick panels.

High & Tight 1957 Chevy Truck

1957 Chevy 4x4Here at ClassicTrucks.net, we pretty much like all the old trucks. We tend to favor the 2wd street machines, but we appreciate the high riders just as much. We came across this 1957 Chevy that was transferred to a Blazer Chassis. New paint was shot and 37″ X-Terrain tires on 17″ Weld Racing Rims added. Under the hood a 350 engine and turbo 400 trans turn those monster shoes. New upholstery and new glass round out the major additions to this 4×4.
