1953 Chevy 5 Window With A Huffer

0

1953 Chevy Truck SideJim from Georgia sent us these pictures of his 1953 Chevy 5 window pickup. It’s a great example of a budget build. A Camaro front clip with power steering and disc brakes was grafted on to add modern driveability. A blown 350 sits under the hood and gives this truck the fun factor. A 700R4 transmission shifts the gears and applies the power to a 10 bolt limited slip rear end.

Nice Build Jim!

ESAB Easy Grind MIG Wire

Esab Easy Grind Mig Wire
ESAB Easy Grind Mig Wire

If you have to rely on your MIG to do sheet metal body repairs, you know how hard standard MIG wire is to grind when you’re finishing those welds. ESAB has a MIG wire that is easier to grind so you can more easily shape the weld when grinding the welds flat.

This info. is from ESAB:

“Spoolarc Easy Grind is a fully deoxidized wire designed to weld over moderate levels of rust and paint as are commonly encountered in auto body repair work. Easy Grind produces welds that easily exceed the tensile requirements of ER70S class wires. Easy Grind is produced in small diameters and are appropriate for the low current welding machines commonly used in body shops.”
